First off, congratulations on your retirement – what’s next for you?

I’m a grandparent and my grandkids are involved in many different activities – so I expect I’ll be going to a lot of Little League games and taking it easy!

I’m thinking of going to a few Pitt games now as a fan – the Pitt-Notre Dame game for sure – I have to go to that! It’s a different kind of season for Pitt this year – they have to get back to relevance. It’s a big year for the team and Pat Narduzzi.

Exclusive with Steelers Defensive Lineman Daniel Ekuale

First off, what have been your plans for the offseason?

It’s been great – I’ve been training here in Arizona and am flying to San Diego today. I’m going with my girlfriend to a wedding in Cancun from there. It’s my first vacation this offseason – I’m excited!

Exclusive with Julie Zeravica, Manager, Steelers Hall of Honor Museum

First off, can you let me know how you got started working with the museum?

I was hired in July of 2022 as the manager for the Hall of Honor museum. The process for the museum’s creation was already in progress – I came in when they were working on the photos and text to write for the exhibits and museum in general.

The idea was to dedicate, preserve and celebrate the history of the Steelers. Ambassador Rooney had the idea – he wanted to bring back and celebrate the team’s history with the fans. That’s what we do -relive and celebrate the Steelers history.

Exclusive with Former Steelers Linebacker Ryan Olson, 1998

First off, can you let me know what you’ve been up to since your time in Pittsburgh?

I graduated with an engineering degree at Colorado, so after I got cut from the Steelers I started working for a niche federal agency that designs and builds the roads on federal lands and the ones that lead into federal lands – for areas like national parks.

I’ve been doing that for 17 years and have been to a lot of cool places across the Western U.S. My office is close to where I grew up actually.

I’ve worked at Yosemite, Lake Mead, Mesa Verde …it’s all an extension of my engineering degree and I just developed my career since I was cut.

Exclusive with Steelers Tight End MyCole Pruitt

First off, what have you been up to this offseason?

I’ve been resting up for next season. Being a 10-year veteran requires more rest that I needed earlier in my career.

I also started a new endeavor – I’m doing a podcast with my best friend Ahmad Hicks – he’s a sports anchor in Minnesota. It’s called “Must be 2 Sides”. We discuss the dynamic between the media and athletes. Ahmad has been by best friend for over 20 years and we show how both sides are pitted against each other on issues and how they can agree on things as well.

Exclusive with Former Steelers Offensive Lineman Jim Jones, 2004-2005

First, can you let me know how you got into coaching at Northwest Mississippi Community College?

For the most part I’ve been here since 201o teaching the offensive line, with a one-year stint at Pearl River Community College before I went back to Northwest.

I grew up in Chicago and played at Notre Dame – I was never in Mississippi before and never expected to be. But nobody wanted to re-sign me anymore in the NFL. I was never a starter in the NFL – I was always battling to make a roster. For me, it took all I had to make it in the NFL as long as I did. By 2008, no one was going to pay me what it would take to pay a veteran player to be a backup. You can say I was drafted out of football.

Exclusive with Pittsburgh Actor Patrick Fabian

First off, what projects are you working on that you want others to know about?

Better Caul Saul just ended but there are always reverberations. If people didn’t see the final season or hadn’t watched it before they can always go do that.

I’m on the hunt again – I just did an episode of Tracker and produced an independent film on VOD called the Way We Speak. It’s an indy film we filmed in Portland.

Exclusive with RMU/Professional Basketball Player Gabe Jackson

First off, what have you been up to since your playing days at RMU and Overseas?

I’m in Las Vegas now working for Equa Solutions helping with on the job training and work internships for the community – helping people get fresh starts who had issues with drugs and alcohol or issues with the justice system.

I came out here originally for another company but it folded. I hit up Indeed and Equa called me – I’ve been here now for three years and was recently promoted to Business Services Development.

First, can you let me know what you’ve been doing since your time in the NFL?

Well, I am a developer – I’ve been in real estate – have been a general contractor and loved that work since I was in college. Even in high school really. It stayed with me. It was my first love. My second love was sports. Both required strong work ethics.

Exclusive with Steelers Running Back Jonathan Ward

First off, what have you been up to in the offseason?

I’m just training – working on cardio and strength training. Nothing too crazy. Doing isometrics for and getting my body right for Spring.

I’m also spending time with the family – we just had a son a couple of months ago so spending a lot of time with him. And I like to bowl and fish when I get the chance.
